The Drink More Water Challenge

I’m terrible at getting the right amount of water a day. I struggle to get 40 Oz Of water a day let alone double that. Coffee should not be the first thing you drink in the morning it should be water!!

So February I’m taking the water challenge and aiming to drink more water.

Our body is 60 percent water and water is critical to our heart,muscles,skin, cellular function.

How much water we drink is up to your age weight and where you live

Average is

2.8 liters a day for women

3.8 liters a day for men

A liter is about 33oz

25 % of that you can also get some of your water from water rich foods like :

Cucumber

Celery

Cantaloupe

Watermelon

Strawberry

Tomatoes

Also did you know herbal teas count towards your daily water count!

Bring on the

Chamomile

Nettle

Raspberry

Don’t over do it either:

Signs of water intoxication

Headache

Nausea

Confusion

Seizures

Coma

Infuse your water for a lift

Add berries , mint any fruit you like.

also try making strawberry water

Get 1 cup strawberry and 2cups water juice from 1/2 lemon and a pinch of cinnamon and about 6-8 ice cubes.

Cinnamon hell’s your liver to work better.

Morning drink

Hot water

Slice of lemon

It helps your intestines work better.
