Intuition

Our intuition is the GPS built inside of us.. Have you ever felt sick after you decided to do something? Ever feel the mood drop when you are around certain people? Ever meet someone and you instantly felt oh this person cannot be trusted? Or sense you are in danger or in an area of a new town that just doesn’t feel safe? Has your stomach sunk after making a decision that turned out to be a bad one… you’ll know what I mean. Being in touch with our intuition isn’t just about making decisions, it’s about knowing what you need.

Right now is the best time to reconnect with your intuition, get that inner GPS up and running and find your direction.

Intuition is powerful and can lead to amazing insights, but that doesn’t mean you just follow it blindly. It is so important to use common sense and a balance of rationality. You need a balance of both.

Here are four simple steps that are sure to increase your intuitive powers:

  1. Listen to your gut. Literally. …
  2. All good things come from God period end of story
  3. Observe your energy levels. Pay attention to whether being around someone makes you feel tired and drained or energetic and lively, I am not talking about if your partner upsets you now and then or if you don’t agree with someone. I mean when you get around someone and they just kill your joy every time or when you see a certain person you get this bad feeling…. no not family telling you what to do. I mean people that are bad for us, that wish us harm when we are not looking.
  4. Capture your flashes. … remember your dreams they often tell us things. Dot share them with everyone.
  5. Do a three-minute meditation everyday. It helps you turn on that inner GPS. Prayers also help.
  6. Do at least 4 to 6 positive affirmations everyday more if you like, here are a few examples – Happiness is a choice and I choose to be happy today – I am proud of myself for getting this far. – I will work hard today, not just on my career but on my joy – I am good enough and worthy of love and success. – I have the ability to do great things – I am stronger than any of my negative circumstances – I attract people who uplift me and believe in me – My very existence makes the world a better place – I am becoming a better version of myself one day at a time – I am attracting wonderful things into my life – My heart is open to receiving all of the love of the universe – I am becoming calmer with each breath I take – I am breathing in relaxation – I release all anxiety it has no place in my life – I will not react to others in a negative or angry way
  7. Thank the trees for providing you clean air to breath, thank the ground for providing you vegetables to eat.
  8. If you live a thankful grateful life, you allow your heart to become more open if you sit quietly for a few minutes everyday. If you just relax you will become more connected to your self and your intuition
  9. Engaging in creative activities, such as drawing, scrap-booking, or free-flow journal, quiets the cognitive mind and allows your intuition to speak up.
  10. Spend time in nature – take some time away from technology I am not saying go in the wilderness with no cell phone. I mean shut off the ringer for 10 minutes sit and just smell the air, listen to the birds or the water
  11. Tarot cards is spiritually reckless. Avoid them at all costs this will block your own intuition.
  12. Consult your body compass – Your intuition speaks to you through your body, and the more you cultivate somatic awareness, the more sensitive you become. If you get an uncomfortable physical feeling when you’re trying to make a decision, pay attention. Do you feel light or heavy? Got a sick feeling in your gut? Saddled with a headache? It could just be the result of stress responses activated by false fear, but it could also be your intuition ringing loud and clear. Learn the difference.

When faced with a problem, people often turn to logic, a scientific approach to reasoning. You gather the facts. You analyze your options. You come up with a solution.

This complex process occurs in the frontal lobe of the brain, often called the “rational brain”. It serves as an excellent tool for problem solving, planning, organization, reasoning, and managing emotions, according to Changes Psychology

But your head isn’t the only one doing the thinking. Much of the thinking in the body also happens in your heart and in your gut. Through research studies, scientists classify the head, heart, and gut as three functional brains, each containing complex neural networks..

Using the combined wisdom of your “3 brains” can help make smart decisions, avoid dangerous situations, and build stronger relationships.

In the age of science, we tend to overemphasize logic. While logic certainly has its place when it comes to critical thinking and problem solving, it’s not the only type of intelligence that you can use.

When you rely solely on logic, it’s like only using one tool from a toolbox. But you wouldn’t want to use a saw to screw in a nail. Intuition, gut instinct, emotional and physical sensations—you have other types of intelligence beyond your intellect at your disposal. Why not use them?
